The Sangu River, also referred to as the Sonkho River, stretches over 270 kilometers across Myanmar and Bangladesh. It begins its journey from the North Arakan Hills in Myanmar, making its way into Bangladesh near Remarki. From there, the river meanders in a northerly direction, tracing a circuitous path through the hill tracts until it reaches Bandarban. Eventually, it empties into the Bay of Bengal.
